The Grapes

THE ORANGE RIVER'S BEST

Our basis grapes used:  Flame, Thompson & Early Sweet - producing 60% alcohol content and in 10 different varieties of vines white, red and black. During the early years of production, all varieties were mixed together. During the last 3 years we have been experimenting in separating the varieties using second hand red wine barrels, which are shaved and toasted before storing our Orvignac.

Most of the grapes used have a brix of 21.
